Kodingareng Lompo Island

Lompo Kodingareng Island is one of the exotic attractions that often visit people in Makassar. The population in this island, about 4170 people, with 90 percent of livelihood as a fisherman, and the remaining 9 percent pa'balong other businesses.

Fort Rotterdam is a fortress of Gowa Kingdom Tallo. The location of the fort was located on the edge of the west coast of Makassar, South Sulawesi.

The fort was built in 1545 by the 9th King of Gowa who named I manrigau Daeng Bonto Karaeng Lakiung Tumapa'risi'kallona.
